Readstone United Blues was formed from the Readstone team which came runners up in the North Valley League 07/08 season. Having 4 players from the 07/08 team, Readstone Blue was formed .
The 2008/09 season saw us have 2 of the 4 players from the previous season scouted by Burnley FC and Accrington Stanley. We recruited and rebuilt the team going on to win promotion in our 1st season together to the top league.
The 2009/10 season is looking very promising with 9 boy's in the squad getting better with each passing week.
