Mik is the assistant managerand with myself joined the club virtually at the same time. We took our level 1 coaching badges together and Mik was an ever present at training and on the touchline at games last season. Due to work commitments this season sadly see's Mik limited but gets to as much as he can. Mik is a coach who likes to encourage the squad to develop themselves and is very passionate about the team and football in general.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
